“The ancients believed that those who lived wickedly were forbidden from entering paradise, and must spend the afterlife as a restless ghost, condemned to an eternity of violence and war against other ghosts. The infamous king, Ezeri II, believed in this holy teaching. But, instead of living a righteous life, he prepared himself by constructing a tomb that would make an excellent fortification once he became a ghost.”
