A sleek boat with large majestic sails for transporting cargo and soldiers quickly through war torn seas.
The Dhow is a ship that can be used in a fantasy setting or historical setting. It was traditionally used as a merchant vessel in the Indian ocean and Arabian seas and is still in use today.
In addition to color and scale, the Dhow comes in two different options:
The Base Ship, which comes with just the ship, rigging clips and deck scatter. Deck scatter includes ships wheel, anchor and 2 ballistae.
The Ship w/Extras, which comes with all of the above as well as a removable ‘wake’ that simulates ship movement through the seas, below deck floor to simulate movement inside the ship (these are separate from the ship body), and more items for deck scatter. The wake has a skew to one side and gives a look of rough water.
Item comes unpainted in 48+ pieces. Assembly with glue required. Masts and cabling are not included; to rig the Dhow, check out a general Rigging Guide.
All items are printed in non-toxic PLA filament. Item is printed with a mix of high 0.15mm and ultra high 0.1mm resolution. As with all 3D prints, some finishing may be required.
Other print resolutions are available and can be used if requested.
